Are you interested in learning about photography? Do you want to finally understand all of those complicated-looking numbers and menus on your camera? This guide aims to help you not only understand what in the world is going on with all of that, but also to help you not hate everything while doing so. Trust me, it's not as bad as it seems!
My name is Johnny Joo. I'm a photographer based out of the suburbs of Cleveland, OH. I've been a photographer for 18 years, and over those years, I've enjoyed not only learning, but teaching others, sharing the knowledge I've gained over these years about photography.
10 years ago, I was able to begin my career, taking on photography as my full time job. It was then that I learned that making photography your career is about a lot more than just taking photos.
The guide above is just the first part to a series where I will be talking about all of the things I've learned not only about photography over the years, but also what I've learned in my journey into making a career out of it.
Over the last 10 years, I've also self-published numerous books documenting forgotten places across America, and the history behind many of them. Self-publishing my first book was one of the first steps into my career as a photographer. You can check out all of my books at www.oddworldstudio.com
